Education in South Dakota is drastically underfunded. Because of this our students are not getting the best possible education and we have the lowest teacher wages in the nation. Education must be looked at as an investment instead of an expense.

In South Dakota we have the lowest wages in the nation. South Dakota also has tremendous alternative energy potential. Our wind and solar resources have the capacity to provide us with clean energy to light our homes while driving our economic growth.

It's time for a change in Pierre!
Thanks for visiting my webpage. I appreciate your interest and I’m asking for your vote on November 2nd.
I believe government exists to serve the people. The people of South Dakota have been short changed by a state government that has lost sight of this. Pierre is broken and we are facing a massive budget shortfall brought on by rampant government growth and fiscal irresponsibility. Because of this, education is underfunded, we are unable to adequate invest in alternative energy and economic development, and citizens face a potentially increased tax burden to dig us out of the hole we are in.
We need new people and new ideas in Pierre to return the focus of government to the everyday issues that affect all of us. We have to reign in government growth so we can invest in the things we all care about like education, alternative energy, and economic development. I’m running for the State House of Representatives because it’s time for a change in business as usual in Pierre and to be a voice for the people of Lawrence County. Please vote O’Dea on November 2nd.
